Desiring to engage the community in meaningful ways, Mars Hill Church | Wedgwood kickstarted - seriously, no pun intended - MHC | sports ministry to foster friendships and create conversation. One does not need to be a church member to participate; church attendees, co-workers, local residents, and friends are ALL are welcome.

People often ask, "What exactly is Sports Ministry?" Maybe that's your question, too!

Our plan for MHC | sports is to provide athletic activities within an environment where ministry can happen. In other words, we encourage participants to investigate and apply spiritual truth while they enjoy sports activities.

In our inaugural 2008 season we will offer seasonal sports such Winter – Indoor Soccer, Spring – Indoor Beach Volleyball, then things really get heated up with Spring and Summer Softball and Ultimate Frisbee.  The summer wraps up with Outdoor Grass Volleyball and transition full circle with the Indoor Soccer & Volleyball.
